Anak-anak Penawar Segala Duka Pt II

Okay.. I am back with Part II.

2nd : Muhamamad Akmal Adlan (Born : 23.04.1998; 3.15am)

Adlan aka Lan is the second one obviously. :-). Unlike his brother who was born in the state of his mother's origin, Negeri Cik Siti Wan Kembang (Kelate), he is a city boy. Born in Selangor, Klinik Az-Zahrah in Bangi to be exact. He was born 3.5kg if I am not mistaken. Well, as healthy as his brother I would say. Though, he grown up as a small boy instead. Hmmm... Recap the past while waiting for him to be on earth, it was rather a tough moment altogether. His mother skipped couple of vaccinations while on pregnancy. If I remember correctly, his mother has just taken two or three check-up before giving birth to him. First, of course during the initial stage of pregnancy. Second, after 4 or 5 months of pregnancy and finally right before the delivery. Well, I admitted the mistakes that I made. Hmm... While the economy was going downturn at that moment, I was as eager as the bull to kick-start my own business. Gotcha!!!! It was a total failure. Idon't want to talk about it anyway. Let me just carry over the lessons that I learned. A real precious lessons.

Back to Adlan. :-). He was growing as a normal boy. At least his brother now has someone to play with. Cute little boy. At one point, we have seen a doctor to seek advice as to why this boy is not growing as much as he is eating.. :). Mind me, he eats a lot. Even until now. He likes to keep some food to eat later too. You may guess the end, his brother will take some & they will end up quarelling. Well, the doctor says, it's nothing wrong with him. He has a strong bone, healthy heartbeart, etc, etc... FYI, he didn't take supplementary milk like his brother, Nan, Dutch Lady, etc. He fully dependant on his mother's milk. :). Could that be the reason of not growing big? May & may not be. I know by heart he will be proud of himself when he becomes a man... :).

Now, he is in Standard 1. He likes to go to school very much. It's a true opposite of his brother. Though, he is a bit "fussy" with the preparation for school. Eg. it has to be "jemput-jemput", milk, his favorite cereal, etc before going to school. You see, he is totally OK to be late at school rather than without food. On top of that, he will make sure that he finished all the homeworks. Otherwise, he will ask the mother to help him at 6.00am. As you can also see, the father is always "safe". :).

He is also a bit "manja". That's where his mother could not really take it at times. Anyhow, lately, he is growing as a good boy to his mother. Of course with a lot of pampering words, etc. Well, we as the parent learn a lot along the way. Patient is the best key word in dealing with them. Similarly, we may not expect changes to happen overnite rite? So, be patient...

I believe that is about all for now. What I can visualize now is Adlan's smile showing his "gold-plated with a lot of carat" teeth. The sweetest ever. Doctor says no need to do anything on his teeth. :). You know, he is just as tall as his 4 years old sister (coming to 5 this Nov). Anis Awadah, the most awaiting girl in the family, since 1997 :). I will talk about her in next entry.

Till then, memorizing all that will somehow soothe my feeling all the way....
